いままでは、仕事と家庭の両立を人生の課題にしていましたが、嗣文も合論もすくすくと成長しており、また私自身が生きるペースもかなり掴めるようになって、家内、家族の協力も踏まえて山本家全体が日本と世界とでどう活動し、いかに活躍するべきなのかという発想に一歩踏み込めるようになりました。家族があること、家族と共にあることは、自立の足枷ではなく、可能性そのものであることに、ようやく気がつきました。
